The Secret Garden

A Book cover design for one of my Illustration classes.

I focused on the dark side of the story which most cover artist tend to ignore when doing this book. I wanted to talked about the connection between mental and physical illness and how they are connected. 

Drip patterns in the water

Okay this is kind of an experimental piece for school where we had to use repeating patterns in nature and make an illustration out of it.

This is what I did.

Please tell me if you can find where i tried t use pattern of strips and dripping in this piece

and as always critiques are welcome.

paint on paper scanning it in and manipulating it. 

Arrested Development

Which is about how Arrested Development broke all the rules when it came to a television show. I love this show and so here is the illustration to go with the dementedness that is Arrested Development. 

If you want to can give some tips or pointers for down the road but the piece is due tomorrow morning... or more like six hours from now and I still have another one that I'm working on. Sooo .. yeah

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the famous painting "The Birth of Venus" inspired basic composition and movement of everybody in the illustration.
